The new hand-rubbed, oiled and waxed roasted neck adds an even classier feel to what was already a jaw-dropping instrument. The flawlessly crafted Mahogany body and natural Maple headstock also give off truly vintage vibes.

The Schaller locking tuners and new Music Man-designed tremolo system with vintage bent steel saddles means you can whammy away all day without going out of tune. 22 high-profile medium stainless-steel frets make for effortless bends and general playing extremely comfortable for hours on end.

The designs are based on the first ‘70s Music Man StingRay which retain all the tone and add the functionality. Expect a classic high-gain drive from the chrome-plated humbuckers. You will also hear a real nuanced variation in sound when using the volume and tone controls.

Based on the original 1970’s Music Man designs, the 2018 StingRay RS features a lightweight African mahogany body, vintage spec electronics, and super smooth modern tremolo which delivers a big and bold tone with unparalleled playability and performance. The new Stingray RS model offers a brand new premium roasted figured maple neck with ebony, rosewood or maple fingerboard.
